In my typography class we were challenged with redesigning and formating a book of our choice. The deliverables we were asked to create were a soft and hard cover approach. I went with the classic horror story, “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”. I was able to create two typographically driven book cover designs for the text I have chosen. I used Illustrator and InDesign for all typographic elements. The purpose of this project was to practice working with display typography. In addition, I developed pattern collection that could be used on collateral and merch for the series
